Police are investigating a house fire in Glasgow which they believe was set deliberately.

The emergency services were alerted to the blaze at a home on Parnie Street in the city centre at about 21:25 on Friday.

The building was evacuated and no-one was injured with the road closed until the fire-hit home is made safe.

Police Scotland said the fire is being treated as wilful and its inquiries are ongoing.
