Police have warned of congestion on roads in Inverness as fans gather for singer Rod Stewart's concert at the Tulloch Caledonian Stadium.

About 19,000 people were expected to attend the performance at Inverness Caledonian Thistle's football ground.

Northern Constabulary said roads in the city centre and around the stadium would be busy during the afternoon and evening.

Fans have been asked to find parking and then walk to the stadium.

Elton John performed at the same stadium in 2007.
