Four people have been rescued from the sea and their dog has been recovered from a motorboat off the west coast of Scotland.
The Labrador was left stranded in the circling motorboat about half a mile off Mallaig.
Crew from the fishing vessel Alex C rescued four people from the water at about 1630 BST.
Mallaig RNLI lifeboat crew later stopped the boat by fouling the propeller and the dog was rescued.
None of those involved needed medical attention.
Carol Collins, watch manager for Stornoway Coastguard, which scrambled a helicopter and co-ordinated the rescue, said: "I'd like to thank the Alex C for reporting the incident and helping to recover people from the water.
"It is believed that the motorboat was tipped by a large wave and everyone ended up in the water, apart from the dog, which was all alone on the boat as it carried on and on."
