Inverness musician on stun gun allegations

A musician has appeared in court accused of abduction and assault involving a stun gun and pepper spray.

Andrew Gunn, 36, of Inverness, was arrested following an alleged disturbance in the city's Baron Taylor's Street last Friday.

He appeared at Inverness Sheriff Court on a series of charges.

Mr Gunn was accused of abducting a man, assaulting a woman, assaulting a second man, possessing a stun gun and having pepper spray.

He made no plea or declaration and was committed for further examination.

Mr Gunn was remanded in custody and is due to appear in court again next week.
