BBC spending debate audience sought

Tickets are available for a BBC Radio Scotland debate in Inverness, as public funding in the Highlands and Islands faces the biggest squeeze for decades.

The programme will be recorded in Inverness on the evening of 12 October, for broadcast the next day.

Politicians will face questions from members of the audience.

Anyone with concerns about the impact on local services, or with ideas about savings, can apply for a ticket by e-mailing inverness.news@bbc.co.uk.

The email application should include 'Budget Debate' in the subject heading.

It should also feature a daytime phone number if the applicant wishes to submit a question.
