Gas canister explodes at Muir of Ord yard

Emergency services have been dealing with an incident at a wrecker's yard in the Highlands after a gas canister exploded.

Police and Highlands and Islands Fire and Rescue Service were called to the scene in Muir of Ord's Baxter's industrial estate at about 1245 BST.

A 200m exclusion zone has been put in place until police and firefighters have considered the site to be safe.

Northern Constabulary said no-one was injured in the incident.
