Two people have been rescued by the Skye Mountain Rescue Team after they got into difficulties while walking in the Cuillins.
The man and woman were descending Coire na Creiche when they were unable to complete their descent due to the rising water levels in the streams.
The couple managed to obtain a mobile phone signal and contacted emergency services.
Six members of the rescue team led them to safety.
A spokesman for Northern Constabulary said they would like to remind all hillwalkers to be aware of the changeable weather conditions and reducing daylight hours at this time of year.
