'Suspicious' Easter Ross house fire investigated

Police have been treating a fire at a house in Easter Ross as suspicious.

One person was rescued from the property in Milton, near Invergordon, and taken to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness for treatment.

Neighbouring properties were evacuated of their five occupants as a precaution. The alarm was raised at about 1630 GMT on 11 February.

Northern Constabulary and Highlands and Islands Fire and Rescue Service have started a joint investigation.
