A lifeboat and a helicopter went to the aid of a fish farm boat after its crew reported they were drifting towards rocks after suffering engine problems.

The crew raised the alarm at about 0950 BST after getting into difficulty off Inverpolly in Wester Ross.

A Maritime and Coastguard Agency helicopter flew over the vessel until Lochinver RNLI reached the scene.

A rope was found around the boat's propeller and this was removed before the crew were escorted back to shore.
