Teenager admits dangerous driving after Highland crash

A man has admitted causing a crash which left a female passenger in his car permanently disfigured.

Lee Stuart, 18, of Balloch, Inverness, admitted driving dangerously and at speed and overtaking three vehicles before he hit an oncoming car.

Three people in the other vehicle were severely injured in the crash on the Inverness to Beauly road last February.

Sheriff Ian Abercrombie called for background reports and deferred sentence until 21 February.

Stuart pled guilty to the charges at Inverness Sheriff Court.
