Man who caused crash on Inverness-Beauly road sentenced
A man who admitted causing a crash which left a passenger in his car permanently disfigured has been ordered to do 300 hours of community service.
Lee Stuart, 18, from Balloch, Inverness, admitted driving dangerously and at speed, and overtaking three vehicles before he hit an oncoming car.
Three people in the other vehicle were severely injured in the crash on the Inverness to Beauly road last February.
Lee was sentenced at Inverness Sheriff Court on Tuesday.
Sheriff Andrew Berry said community service sentence was a direct alternative to custody.
