Police appeals over fuel thefts in Lochalsh and Skye

Hundreds of litres of fuel has been stolen in separate incidents in Lochalsh and on Skye.

Police said 150 litres of red diesel was taken from two agricultural vehicles at the Cluanie Inn off the A87 road to Kyle of Lochalsh.

The theft happened sometime between 1 and 21 April.

More than 700 litres of heating oil was stolen from a property in Harrapool on Skye between 07.15 on 12 April and 21.00 14 April.

Northern Constabulary has appealed for information on the incidents.
