Highland crews continue tackling wildfires

Firefighters in the Highlands are continuing to deal with two serious wildfires in the far north.

Ninety firefighters were involved in tackling a blaze at Cannisbay, while a fire at Killimster has been brought under control.

On Monday, all available firefighters in the Highlands were deployed to tackle a series of wildfires.

Meanwhile, a woman was rescued after a fire caused extensive damage to a house in Dingwall.

The 29-year-old received hospital treatment for smoke inhalation.

An investigation will be carried out into the cause of the fire in Cluny Road, which was discovered at 21:00 on Monday.
