Injured biker airlifted to Inverness after A86 crash

A man has been airlifted to hospital after his motorcycle was involved in a collision with a lorry on a road in Badenoch and Strathspey.

Police said the crash happened on the A86 at Kinloch Laggan, near Newtonmore, at about 12:50.

The injured man was flown to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness for treatment.

Northern Constabulary said the section of road where the crash happened could be closed for several hours, before it could be reopened.
