No objection raised by Highland committee to wind farm

Highland councillors have agreed not to object to a proposed 36-turbine wind farm near Invermoriston.

The developer, energy company SSE, has welcomed the south planning applications committee's decision on its Bhlaraidh project.

The scheme has been proposed for a site on Glen Moriston Estate.

The Scottish government, which sought Highland Council's view on the wind farm, will have the final say on the planning application.
