Fort George near Inverness will host Scotland's second largest military tattoo as part of Year of Homecoming 2014.
The event will be the biggest of its kind after the Edinburgh Military Tattoo, which is held each year at Edinburgh Castle.
The Highland Tattoo will be held from 5 to 7 September.
Fort George, a working barracks built in the 1700s, sits on the shores of the Moray Firth at Ardersier.
