'Technical issue' affects Inverness HMO plan

An application for a licence for bedsits for the homeless in Inverness has been withdrawn because of a "technical issue".

City Apartments and Highland Homeless Trust propose changing a large house in Glenurquhart Road into a house of multiple occupancy (HMO).

The plan was given the go ahead by Highland Council's planning committee in February. A licence was then sought.

Highland Council said it was likely a new application would be submitted.
