Man hit by train on Fort William to Crianlarich line dies

A man has died after he was struck by a train on a railway line in the Highlands.

British Transport Police (BTP) said emergency services were called to a rail crossing at Inverlochy, near Fort William, at about 08:00.

ScotRail said services between Fort William and Crianlarich had been disrupted.

Police said the man's death was not being treated as suspicious at this stage.
