Police identify the body of a woman found in Loch Morlich

Police have confirmed the identity of a woman who was found dead in Loch Morlich in the Highlands.

The body of Sandra Davison, 52, from Kendal, Cumbria, was found by a member of the public on Monday 1 September.

Police Scotland said there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding her death. A report has been sent to the procurator fiscal.

Officers had earlier issued a media appeal including CCTV footage in a bid to identify the woman.
