Death of man in Inverness treated as 'unexplained'

Police have begun an investigation after a man was found dead in Inverness.

The 48-year-old died in Woodlands Way in the Westhill area of the city.

Officers said they were treating the death as "unexplained".

A Police Scotland spokesman said: "Inquiries are ongoing and the death is being treated as unexplained. A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.

"No further details are being released at this time."
