The 2015 Scottish Album of the Year (SAY) award has been won by Kathryn Joseph, for her album 'Bones You Have Thrown Me, And Blood I've Spilled.'

Aberdeen's Ms Joseph had previously said in an interview she couldn't imagine winning the award.

Her album was judged the "most outstanding" Scottish album released between January 2014 and March 2015.

Artists on the award's shortlist included Belle and Sebastian, Paolo Nutini and Paws.

The award was developed by the Scottish Music Industry Association in partnership with Creative Scotland.

Ms Joseph has previously featured for BBC Introducing on the Vic Galloway show on Radio Scotland.
