A council-run project for people with disabilities in Aberdeen has created a special range of hedgehog boxes.

Workers at Garden Craft Products, which provides training and employment for the disabled, have created the boxes using recycled timber.

Tested and backed by the British Hedgehog Preservation Society, the £30 safety boxes are aimed at protecting the animals over the winter.

Garden Craft Products provides work and training for about 20 people.
