Teenager held following two fires in Aberdeen

A teenager has been charged after thousands of pounds of damage was caused in two fires in the Kincorth area of Aberdeen.

A guest house, and bins at a nearby funeral home, were set on fire on Abbotswell Crescent on Friday night and Saturday morning.

Grampian Fire and Rescue Service was called out, and no-one was injured.

A Grampian Police spokesperson said that a 16-year-old male was due at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Monday.
