Body of man found washed up on Moray beach


The body of a man has been discovered on a Moray beach after apparently being washed up.

A member of the public reported the discovery at West Beach, between Lossiemouth and the Silver Sands caravan park, at about 0650 BST.

It is understood the body may have been in the water for a considerable time.

A Grampian Police spokesperson said the death was being treated as "unexplained" and inquiries were under way to identify the body.
