One man trapped after Aberdeenshire road accident

A man had to be cut free from his car by firefighters after an accident in Aberdeenshire.

The two vehicle collision happened on the A90 at the Blackdog industrial estate at about 1100 BST.

The man who was trapped was cut free by Grampian Fire and Rescue Service, and escaped injury.

A Grampian Police spokesperson, appealing for witnesses, said the southbound carriageway reopened later in the day.
