The owners of an Aberdeen nightclub have received a written warning after police complained about a series of incidents.

The city's licensing board issued the warning to the Epic Group, which runs The Priory in Belmont Street.

Grampian Police said the venue saw more violent incidents and ambulance call-outs than any other city centre venue.

A lawyer acting on behalf of the Epic Group at Monday's board meeting described the figures as flawed.
