Motorist cut free after A96 crash near Aberdeen Airport

Two motorists - one who had to be cut free - have been taken to hospital after a two-vehicle crash on the A96, which caused rush-hour delays.

The accident, close to the Aberdeen Airport roundabout, happened at about 0800 BST.

The two men were taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. Their injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.

Three units from Grampian Fire and Rescue were called out, alongside Grampian Police and ambulance crews.
