Man admits role in Aberdeen robbery

A man has admitted his role in an Aberdeen robbery which saw the victim tied up and beaten.

Colin Stewart, 26, and two other masked men carried out the attack in a flat in the city's Gerrard Street in March.

The male victim, who cannot be named for legal reason, was rescued after someone heard a scream.

The two others escaped from police but Stewart was detained, the High Court in Edinburgh was told. Sentence was deferred for reports.
