Police plea on 'vicious' assault in Aberdeen

Police have appealed for witnesses after a "particularly vicious" assault in Aberdeen.

Two 20-year-old men were attacked and punched by two other men on Schoolhill, leaving one with serious facial injuries in hospital.

The assailants were described as being in their early to mid 20s and muscular. One man police want to trace was wearing a distinctive lime green top.

Grampian Police said the attack happened early on Saturday 21 August.
