Cocaine haul worth £70,000 seized on A90

A haul of cocaine with an estimated street value of £70,000 has been recovered by Grampian Police.

A spokesman for the force said the haul was found after a vehicle was stopped on Friday night on the A90 south of Stonehaven.

Officers said they were acting as the result of intelligence received.

A 22-year-old man from the Liverpool area has been arrested and is due to appear on drug charges at Aberdeen Sheriff Court.
