Two arrested over Aberdeen drugs discovery


Two people were arrested after drugs worth thousands of pounds were seized in Aberdeen.

Heroin, crack cocaine and cannabis with an estimated street value of about £13,500 was seized in Bon Accord Street on Thursday.

A Grampian Police spokesperson said a 17-year-old man and 20-year-old woman, both from Wolverhampton, were detained in connection with the recovery.

The pair were expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Friday.
