Football wrangle over 'unauthorised' club badge

Formartine United said it did not realise rules had been breached
A team badge used by a Highland League club from the north east of Scotland may not be legal, it has emerged.
The current Lion Rampant and Saltire design used by Formartine United has fallen foul of The Court of the Lord Lyon, which oversees unauthorised arms.
The club said it did not realise rules had been breached and was taking legal advice amid fears of expensive changes.
The procurator fiscal to the Court Of The Lord Lyon said "amicable discussions" were continuing.
