Everton man in court over Shetland heroin haul

A man has appeared in court after drugs worth thousands of pounds were seized in Shetland.
Northern Constabulary said heroin with an estimated street value of about £11,000 was recovered from a house in Lerwick.
Liam James Senior, 26, of Everton, Merseyside, appeared in private from custody at Lerwick Sheriff Court.
He made no plea or declaration and was remanded in custody pending further investigation.
