Niketa Thores was sentenced at Peterhead Sheriff Court
A woman with a baby who was found so drunk in a street that the child had to be taken to hospital has been placed on probation.
Niketa Thores, 22, could not stand while trying to push a buggy in Peterhead and was discovered slumped against a door in July.
A member of the public raised the alarm and the 16-month-old baby was taken to hospital due to being cold.
Thores admitted wilful neglect and was placed on probation for 12 months.
After an earlier hearing at Peterhead Sheriff Court, Thores said she did not have time to speak about the case because she was hungry.
