Moray Council savings plan of £31m discussed

A series of consultations into savings being considered by Moray Council is set to get under way.

The local authority is trying to find cutbacks of up to £31m and has outlined various proposals.

Options include shutting schools, community centres and museums, and asking people to clean their own public toilets.

Moray Council said the meetings are aimed primarily at representatives of community groups.
