Man charged over lorry collisions in Stonehaven

A man has been charged after a lorry collided with nine cars in Stonehaven.

The lorry was travelling downhill on the Kincardineshire town's Evan Street when the incident happened on Thursday afternoon.

Three of the nine cars damaged were being driven at the time, but only the lorry driver was injured. The road was closed for four hours.

A Grampian Police spokesman said a 44-year-old man had been charged in connection with the incident.
