Woman arrested after man falls from Aberdeen balcony

A 26-year-old man was taken to hospital with back injuries after falling from a second-floor balcony in the Torry area of Aberdeen.

Grampian Police said a 24-year-old woman had been arrested in connection with the incident.

It happened at a block of flats in Balnagask Avenue at about 0230 GMT on Saturday.

A police spokesperson said the woman was expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Monday.

Police have appealed for anyone with information to come forward.
