Victim of Moray fire named as Mary Chalmers aged 77

An elderly woman who died when a house in Moray was destroyed by fire has been named.

Mary Bell Chalmers, 77, has been identified as the victim of the blaze in Rafford, Forres, which happened on 29 November.

Human remains had been found during an investigation into the incident.

About 24 Grampian Fire and Rescue Service firefighters were involved in battling what was described as a "well-developed" blaze.
