Drugs 'worth £38,000' recovered in Aberdeen


Drugs worth tens of thousands of pounds have been seized in Aberdeen, police have said.

Heroin with an estimated street value of about £38,000 was recovered in the Rosemount area on Tuesday.

A 29-year-old woman from Aberdeen and a 35-year-old man from Liverpool were detained.

A Grampian Police spokesperson said the pair were expected to appear from custody at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Wednesday.
