Two in hospital after collision on A96 in Aberdeenshire

A man and a woman have been taken to hospital following a crash in Aberdeenshire.

They had to be cut free after the accident, which happened on the A96 near the Loch Insch Fishery, just outside Colpy.

The three-vehicle collision happened at about 1900 GMT on Wednesday.

A Grampian Police spokesperson told BBC Scotland that a baby who was travelling in one of the cars escaped serious injury.
