Thieves steal Fraserburgh service station cash machine


Thieves have stolen a cash machine from a service station in Aberdeenshire.

Grampian Police said the freestanding cash unit was taken from inside the Kessock garage on Maconochie Road, Fraserburgh, while the shop was closed.

The theft is believed to have happened at about 0230 GMT. The force said it was likely a vehicle was used.

They are now trying to trace a dark-coloured Land Rover Discovery and an estate car seen in the area. It is not known how much cash was in the machine.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Grampian Police.
