Two charged over Elgin library BB gun shooting

Two youths have been charged after a woman was struck by a plastic pellet from a BB gun at a library in Moray, police have said.

The incident happened at Elgin Library, in the town's Cooper Park, on Saturday 22 January.

The woman was struck on the back of her head.

A Grampian Police spokesperson said two youths, aged 12 and 14, had been charged and a report sent to the Children's Reporter.
