Peterhead attack: Woman kissed man then stabbed him

A woman kissed a man before repeatedly stabbing him in Peterhead, a court has heard.
Roberta MacDonald, 50, was charged with attempted murder but admitted a reduced charge of assault to the danger of his life.
The High Court in Glasgow heard she met Ian Wood on a night out, and they kissed at her Crossfolds Crescent home in July 2009.
However, they had a row, and MacDonald stabbed Mr Wood. Sentence was deferred.
She had grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed Mr Wood in the head, neck and body.
The court was told she struck him with such force that the blade bent.
An ambulance was called and the victim was treated in Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
Mr Wood suffered a perforation of the stomach and a major nerve in his right arm was severed.
