Aberdeen woman 'fed up' with flat started fire
A woman who started a fire in her flat because she was "fed up" with it has been put on probation.
Jennifer Cran, 46, admitted drunkenly setting the curtains of her living room alight in Aberdeen's Coningham Terrace in May last year, which then spread.
Seven residents were evacuated and the damage caused costing thousands of pounds to repair.
Cran was placed on probation for 18 months at Aberdeen Sheriff Court, and given 140 hours of community service.
During the hearing the fiscal said her 22-year-old son later reported that his mother said she was "fed up with the flat and had had enough".
