Six cars stolen overnight from Foveran garage

Six cars worth a total of more than £70,000 have been stolen from a garage in Aberdeenshire overnight.

The thefts took place at Rob Lumsden Trade Sales, known locally as the Foveran Garage, in Foveran.

Grampian Police said a Mercedes and two BMWs were among the vehicles stolen.

A spokesman said staff secured the premises when closing up on Friday and discovered that the cars had been taken when they returned at about 09:30.

Officers have appealed for anyone with any information to contact them.
