Teenager charged for Aberdeen's La Lombarda restaurant vandalism

A teenager has been charged after an Aberdeen restaurant window was "recklessly" smashed as diners ate inside.

The incident happened at La Lombarda in the Castlegate area at about 19:20 last Wednesday.

Grampian Police said an 18-year-old man had been charged.

A force spokesman said the man, from the Torry area of the city, was expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Monday.

The value of the damage was estimated to be more than £1,000.
