Peter Manson jailed for Aberdeen pharmacy knife robbery
A man who admitted carrying out an armed robbery at a pharmacy in Aberdeen has been jailed.
Peter Manson, 25, struck at Webster's Pharmacy, on Hilton Drive, armed with a knife in November last year.
Worker Michelle Allan, 26, pressed the panic button as she pretended to look for keys to the controlled drug cupboard.
At the High Court in Edinburgh, Manson was jailed for four years by judge Lord Woolman.
Manson, who escaped with diazepam, admitted assault and robbery.
Lord Woolman told Manson: "Although the incident happened quickly it must have been terrifying."
The judge also made an order keeping addict Manson under supervision for two years after the end of his prison sentence.
