Administration to run Aberdeenshire Council agreed in principle

The Conservatives, Liberal Democrats and Independents are set to form an administration to run Aberdeenshire Council.

In a statement, Conservative group leader Jim Gifford there said they had reached an agreement in principle, giving a total of 37 seats.

The SNP is the biggest single party with 28 councillors.

The council was previously led by a Liberal Democrat and Conservative administration.
