First time Liverpool drugs courier Paul Gunnion jailed for Aberdeen heroin

A drugs courier caught with heroin worth almost £100,000 in Aberdeen has been jailed.

Paul Gunnion, 23, of Liverpool, admitted being concerned in the supply of drugs and failing to appear for a court hearing.

The drugs were found in Aberdeen's Farquhar Road in November 2010.

At the High Court in Edinburgh, Lord Brodie jailed Gunnion for five years, and a further eight months for breaching bail.
