Action pledged to stop Aberdeen primaries going over capacity

The councillor who oversees Aberdeen's education service has vowed to prevent seven primaries going over capacity.

Seaton, Mile End, Kaimhill, Manor Park, Milltimber, Riverbank and St Peters Roman Catholic School are all due to take in more pupils than they are designed for after the summer break.

Councillors will discuss potential solutions next week.

Jenny Laing, convener of the education, culture and sport committee, said taking action was a priority.
